A good video doesn't require a video camera. A Nikon D200 was used in which Cesar Kuriyama took about 45,000 photos and then selected the best ones and stitched it all together.
Must have taken some time to complete, but turned out great.

Car shoto - behind the scenes.
So much needs to be done to get those professional car photos... This is what is going on behind the scenes...
I wish the photographers(s) would show a couple photos after the shoot, but maybe they weren't supposed to.

Best Photography Podcast
I've been listening to this podcast since its inception. So far the best photography podcast. Covers things like news, technical aspects of digital photography, cool products, reviews, suggestion and much more. Here's their blog: This Week In Photography

Some quick portrait photo ideas
I like how he used the background to help the image pop with color.
You don't always need a lot of lighting equipment, just take a look at this.

85 years in 40 seconds
Well, this video doesn't deal with photography directly, but has a relative closeness to the photography realm. Some people take a photo of themselves for years every day, then when you put it together and play the whole thing back really fast, it looks like a video. Although this has been digitally altered, it shows the process of age...

Setting up remote camera...
If you like shooting sports in an arena, and want to know how the pros do it, here's one great way to do it. Max from http://www.pshizzy.com/ tells how he does it, what he uses and gives some pro tips. I wish there were more videos like this for people like us. Anyway, enjoy and happy shooting.

PiKAPiKA. Having fun at night with little light.
These guys are cool, way cool. I have tried doing this, but not to this extent. All you need is a digital camera, preferable a DSLR and a lot of flashlights and/or lasers or other lights. Just expose enough to capture your movement of the light apparatus. The rest is up to your creative mind. Enough of the talking, lets do the walking...
Here's how it was done:
Now, if I could only get 10 to 20 people to help me with a similar project, I would be very grateful... :-)

Welcome to the Great Photography Videos.
In this blog I want to put all the interesting, unique and free videos that I run across in my life as a photographer. The more you know the better you get be it at photography, sewing or sports, so why not spend a few minutes watching some videos and learning something new and useful. Welcome.
Here's one video from OVATION TV. It focuses on photographer Gregory Crewdson. He is a real master of light and composition, the best in the field of telling a story in one photograph. His images are worth more than just a 1000 words
